Thermax, IRB Infra and PNC Infratech to see some action today

Thermax Group has concluded Rs 503 crore order from a leading public sector fertilizer company to set up three natural gas based EPC co-generation plants (each of 20 MW capacity) at its facilities in Haryana and Punjab. The scope of supply includes design, engineering, manufacturing, construction and commissioning of the cogeneration plants. The project is to be completed in 22 months.

IRB Infrastructure Developers has emerged as a preferred bidder for a Hybrid Annuity Project under NHDP Phase VI in the state of Gujarat. The project is for construction of eight lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 355.00 to Km 378.740 (Padra to Vadodara Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway) in the State of Gujarat under NHDP Phase - VI on Hybrid Annuity Mode. With addition of these projects, the company's construction order book stands to approximately Rs 12,000 crore to be executed in three years.

PNC Infratech has been declared as the L1 (lowest) bidder for a NHAI project of 45 km four laning of Aligarh-Kanpur section from km 195.733 to km 240.897 (Package II from Bhadwas to Kalyanpur) of NH - 91 in the state of Uttar Pradesh under NHDP Phase-IV to be executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) for a Bid Project Cost (BPC) of Rs 1,197.0 crore, having a construction period of 2 years and operation period of 15 years. Four firms participated in the bidding and the price bids were opened on March 16, 2018, with PNC's bid being the lowest.

Grasim Industries has increased the production capacity of Epoxy Resin, Reactive Diluents and Hardeners at its Epoxy Plant at Vilayat in state of Gujarat from 82,350 MT per annum to 1,23,097 MT per annum through de-bottlenecking process. Grasim Industries is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group.

Entertainment Network (India) (ENIL) has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TV Today Network (TVTNL), for the proposed acquisition of the Radio Business of TVTNL, comprising of 3 radio stations in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata currently operated under the frequency 104.8 FM and ISHQ 104.8 FM brand name, as a going concern (by way of a slump sale). The Committee of Directors of the board at a meeting held on March 16, 2018 took the note of it.

Sadbhav Infrastructure has been declared L-1 (Lowest) bidder by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for new Hybrid Annuity Project in the State of Gujarat. The Project is for the construction of eight lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 254.430 to Km 279.000 (Kim to Ankleshwar Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway) in Gujarat under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase - VI (Phase IA - Package V) on Hybrid Annuity Mode. The Project length is 24.270 km and the construction period is 730 days.

Ashoka Buildcon's subsidiary - Ashoka Concessions (ACL) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder at the Financial Bid opening meeting held at New Delhi, for NHAI Project. The company quoted Bid Project Cost is Rs 1687 crore. Earlier, ACL had submitted its bid to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the Project viz. Construction of Eight Lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 279.00 to Km 292.00 (Ankleshwar to Manubar Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway) in the State of Gujarat under NHDP Phase - VI on Hybrid Annuity mode (Phase IA-Package IV) (Project).
