Power Grid inks MoU with Power Ministry for capital expenditure of Rs 25,000 crore

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Power to incur capital expenditure of Rs 25,000 crore for the current fiscal. Other targets in the MoU include parameters related to human resources, project management, research & development, innovation and other efficiency and operational performance parameters.

PGCIL is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
