Jain Irrigation Systems reports 24% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Jain Irrigation Systems has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2017.

The company has reported 15.78% jump in its net profit at Rs 40.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 35.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company decreased marginally by 0.91% at Rs 984.92 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 993.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidate basis, the company has reported 23.68% fall in its net profit at Rs 46.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 61.56 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. However, total consolidated income of the company increased marginally by 1.18% at Rs 1746.86 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1726.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
