Infosys, Ashok Leyland and Reliance Infrastructure to see some action today

Infosys will open its next Technology and Innovation Hub in the State of Texas and hire 500 American workers in the state by 2020. The Hub will be located in Richardson, Texas and have a special focus on the telecommunications, retail and banking sectors.

Ashok Leyland's first set of electric vehicles would be rolled out by January 2019. The has invested heavily in the Light Commercial vehicle segment to produce the next generation of LCVs, scheduled to hit the roads by 2020.

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has won Rs 16.14 crore arbitration award against National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). A three-member Arbitration Tribunal in its unanimous award on November 12, 2018 has asked NHAI to pay Rs 16.14 crore by February 10, 2019 to Reliance Infrastructure. NHAI will have to pay interest 12% p.a. on the amount if they do not pay Rs 16.14 crore by the deadline.

NESCO has reported marginal rise of 1.90% in its net profit at Rs 49.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 48.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.57% at Rs 105.13 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 92.57 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
