IDFC First Bank reports net loss of Rs 218 in Q4

IDFC First Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019.

The Bank has reported net loss of Rs 218.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019, against net profit of Rs 41.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 66.15% at Rs 3,945.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 2,374.35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 1944.18 crore against net profit of Rs 859.30 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of Bank increased 28.25% at Rs 12886.74 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10047.90 crore for the period ended March 31, 2018.
