HDFC to raise Rs 1,000 crore through rupee denominated bonds

HDFC is planning to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore through issuance of rupee denominated bonds to overseas investors. The issue has opened on September 1, 2016 and will close on September 2. The bonds will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
