HCL Technologies reports 9% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

HCL Technologies has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 6.97% in its net profit at Rs 1,841 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 1,721 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 10.55% at Rs 5,909 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,345 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 9.91% in its net profit at Rs 2,228 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 2,473 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. However, total income of the company rose marginally by 2.25% at Rs 13,480 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 13,183 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 7.11% in its net profit at Rs 7,362 crore as compared to Rs 6,873 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 12.34% at Rs 22,775 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 20,274 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a marginal rise of 1.34% in its net profit at Rs 8,721 crore as compared to Rs 8,606 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 6.47% at Rs 51,786 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 48,641 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
