Cyient reports 16% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit (21-Apr-2017)

Cyient has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported over two fold jump in its net profit at Rs 59.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 25.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 16.41% at Rs 352.60 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 302.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 15.81% in its consolidated  net profit at Rs 78.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 67.70 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. Total consolidated income of the company rose 14.98% at Rs 971.90 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 845.30 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a marginal rise of 1.46% in its net profit at Rs 236.90 crore as compared to Rs 233.50 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased 1.07% at Rs 1373.60 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1359.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 5.62% in its net profit at Rs 343.80 crore as compared to Rs 325.50 crore in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 15.23% at Rs 3699.70 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3210.60 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
