Birla Cable to increase capacity for manufacturing of OFC

Birla Cable has proposed capacity addition for manufacturing of the Optical Fibre cables (OFC) in the plant of the company. The company has proposed capacity addition of 96848 Cable Kilometers from existing 81848 Cable Kilometers.

The period within which proposed capacity is to be added is 8 months and the investment required is Rs 1,700 lakh. In order to align the company's manufacturing capacity to keep pace with the expected growth in demand and swiftly migrate to the evolving technologies for manufacturing of OFC with specific focus on automation and efficiency while implementing capacity addition.
