Bharti Airtel has announced massive network roll-out plans for FY 2018-19 to further expand its high speed mobile data footprint across the state of Gujarat. As a part of its network expansion program - Project LEAP, the company plans to add more than 6000 new sites in FY 2018-19, along with the deployment of an additional 2000 KMs of optic fiber across Gujarat.
Hindustan Copper (HCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MOIL with an objective to create long term business synergy for both Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). In terms of the MoU signed, MOIL will procure its entire requirement of Silica Sand from HCL's unit located at Malanjkhand, Balaghat district in state of Madhya Pradesh. High grade Silica Sand is outcome of the beneficiation of copper ore tails, a waste generated during copper beneficiation process at Malanjkhand.
Commercial Syn Bags has successfully commenced commercial production at its SEZ Unit situated at Indore Special Economic Zone, Pithampur in state of Madhya Pradesh with effect from April 22, 2018 with revised estimated total cost of Rs 34.60 crore. The company has expanded operations at its existing Unit SEZ situated at Pithampur; through capacity addition of 3900 MT and setting up of complete manufacturing facilities by installation of Tape Line and Looms with clean room facilities for manufacturing of Food Grade FIBC Bags.
Music Broadcast (MBL) has received an approval for acquisition of Radio Business Undertaking of Ananda Offset, engaged in Radio Broadcasting Business under brand name 'Friends 91.9 FM' through Slump Sale subject to Regulatory approvals. The board of director at its meeting held on April 23, 2018 has approved for the same. This step has been taken to expand Radio City foot print into Kolkata market which was not available at the time of Phase III bidding process.
Berger Paints India has received an approval for installation of an integrated paint plant with water and solvent based decorative, industrial and protective coatings, resin, putty, emulsion and construction chemical manufacturing capabilities at an investment of about Rs 200 crore at Sandila Industrial Area in Uttar Pradesh. Subject to all required consents and approvals, the project is likely to be completed by the end of the financial year 2019-20. The Board of Directors of the company approved the same.
Bank of India (BoI) has entered into an agreement with National E-Governance Services (NeSL) for Information Utility (IU) arrangement under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). As per the agreement, the bank will avail NeSL service to expedite corporate insolvency resolution process.
Tinna Rubber and Infrastructure has added a new Devulcanizer Machine capable of producing 400 ton of Reclaim Rubber per month at Panipat Plant. Further, three refiner and one extruder has also been transferred from Kal-amb Plant to Panipat Plant. The trial production has commenced and capacity of the Reclaim Rubber unit at Panipat Plant is now increased to 800 MT per month. Now, the total capacity of Reclaim Rubber stands at 1200 tons per month including 400 tons per month at Wada in Maharashtra.
