Bank of Baroda reports net profit of Rs 154.72 crore in Q4FY17 (19-May-2017)

Bank of Baroda has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.   

The Bank has reported net profit of Rs 154.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to net loss of Rs 3230.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased marginally by 0.50% at Rs 12852.44 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 12789.06 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.  

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the Bank has posted net profit at Rs 1383.13 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5395.55 crore in FY16. However, total income of the Bank decreased slightly by 0.21% at Rs 48958 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 49060.13 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the Bank has posted net profit at Rs 1814.98 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5067.68 crore in FY16. Total income of the Bank increased by 1.20% at Rs 52410.22 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 51791.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
