APL Apollo Tubes reports 34% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

APL Apollo Tubes has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 7.41% in its net profit at Rs 49.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 45.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 28.44% at Rs 1,405.72 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 1,094.42 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 34.45% in its net profit at Rs 26.68 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 40.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total consolidated income of the company increased by 26.36% at Rs 1,692.36 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 1,339.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
