Glenmark Generics Gets USFDA Nod For Trospium Tablets (15-Aug-2010)
Glenmark Generics Inc, an US Subsidiary of Glenmark Generics has been granted final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Trospium tablets 20mg, the generic version of Sanctura tablets by Allergan Inc. and the company has already commenced marketing and distribution of this product in the United States.Trospium tablets are indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with the symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency and urinary frequency
This approval is Glenmark's eight final and second tentative approvals within the second quarter of the financial year. The company is authorized to distribute 61 products in the United States and has 45 products pending for approval with the USFDA.
Glenmark Generics is a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and aims to be a global integrated Generic and API Leader.
