Principal MF Launches 540 Days Plan (03-Mar-2010)

Principal Mutual Fund has launched a new close ended debt scheme offering Fixed Maturity Plan named as Principal Pnb Fixed Maturity Plan 540 Days - Series IV. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue is open for subscription from March 2 and will close on March 8, 2010.
The scheme's objective is to build an income oriented portfolio as well as generate returns through investment in Debt / Money Market Instruments and Government Securities. The scheme offers dividend and growth options. Further, the dividend option will have the facility of Payout and Sweep.
The scheme would allocate up to 100% of assets in debt securities (including securitized debt) and money market instruments with low to medium risk profile. Further, it would invest up to 100% of assets in Government Securities with low risk profile. However, the investment in Securitized Debt may be up to 100% of the net assets of the scheme. The entry load and exit load charge is not applicable for the scheme. The scheme's units will be listed on NSE.
