Kotak MF Announces Changes In Kotak Quarterly Interval Plan Series 4 (30-Aug-2010)
Kotak Mutual Fund has announced that the reinvestment facility under dividend option of Kotak Quarterly Interval Plan Series 4 shall stand suspended with effect from September 2, 2010. Fresh subscriptions / switches into the reinvestment facility will not be accepted for any investments. Accordingly, dividend payout shall be the default option for applications under dividend option.
Further, the fund house has decided to revise the exit load structure for the scheme. Accordingly for redemption / switch outs anytime other than the Specified Transaction Period (STP) the exit load charge will be 1% and nil for redemption / switch outs during the STP. The changes will be effective from September 2, 2010.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate returns though investments in debt and money market instruments with a view to significantly reduce the interest rate risk.
