Jaypee Infratech Proposes IPO (23-Feb-2010)
Jaypee Infratech Limited is proposing an initial public offering (IPO) of its equity shares and it plans to raise Rs.1,650 crore through the issue.
It is part of the Jaypee group having interests in the areas of civil engineering and construction, cement, power, real estate, expressways, hospitality, golf courses and education.
Meanwhile, Jaypee Infratech Limited is engaged in the development of Yamuna Expressway and related real estate projects.
The company will develop, operate and maintain the project in Uttar Pradesh, connecting Noida and Agra, apart from developing 25 million sq m of land along the expressway.
