UP sugar output drop by 10% : यू पी मे चीनी के उत्पादन मे 10% की गिरावट : 1st February
हिन्दी अनुवाद:हमारे खाद्य मंत्री श्री शरद पवार ने कहा है कि, देश में इस वर्ष पर्याप्त चीनी है, लेकिन चीनी में कम उत्पादन होने के कारण चीनी की कीमते उच्च रहेगी। इसके अलावा उन्होंने कहा कि चीनी की बढ़ती कीमतें सरकार के लिए एक बड़ी चिंता का विषय है। एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि, खाद्य मंत्री के साथ हमारे प्रधानमंत्री मन मोहन सिंह ने भी भारतीय चीनी मिल एसोसिएशन (आई एस एम ए) के साथ एक बैठक में चीनी की कीमतों और उपभोक्ता कीमतों के बढ़ते प्रभाव के बारे में चिंता व्यक्त की है। वर्तमान रुझानों के आधार पर अनुमानों से पता चलता है कि उत्पादन में सममूल्य पर 14.6 लाख टन पर 2008-09 के साथ होगा। उत्तर प्रदेश, देश की सबसे बड़ी गन्ना राज्य ने पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में चीनी के उत्पादन में 10% गिरावट दिखाई है।
English Translation:
Mr. Sharad Pawar our Food Minister has said, the country will have enough sugar this year, but the prices of sugar will continue to be higher because of the low output in sugar. Further he said rising prices of sugar is a big concern for the government. Along with the Food Minister our Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh in a meeting with the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) has also expressed concern regarding rising of sugar prices and their possible impact on consumer prices , said an official. Current projections based on trends shows that output will be on par with the 2008-09 at 14.6 mt. UP, the country's biggest sugarcane state has shown a 10% drop in sugar output as compared to last year.
