Zensar Technologies surges on bagging multi-year contract with City of San Diego

Zensar Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 955.00, up by 53.55 points or 5.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 901.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 930.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 968.25 and Rs. 930.20 respectively. So far 3,908 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1000.00 on 24-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 729.90 on 16-Feb-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 968.25 and Rs. 891.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4,296.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.80% and 33.30% respectively.

Zensar Technologies has been awarded a four year, multi-million dollar contract from the City of San Diego for network services. The contract has the option of extension of two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed contract value being around $79 million.

This partnership aims to make the City of San Diego more transparent and accountable while enhancing security-all at a lower cost for taxpayers.

Zensar Technologies operates as a software service company. It is engaged in software development, networking, e-commerce, and systems integration services. It also provides consulting, collaboration services and business process outsourcing services.
