Wipro trades higher on the bourses

Wipro is currently trading at Rs. 327.60, up by 11.15 points or 3.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 316.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 315.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 329.00 and Rs. 315.00 respectively. So far 2,31,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 329.00 on 16-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 222.78 on 31-Jan-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 329.00 and Rs. 313.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,48,418.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.99% and 7.45% respectively.

Wipro has made a strategic investment of $ 2.05 million in Imanis Data (formerly Talena) taking total investment to $ 4.05 million. The transaction has been done through cash and note conversation. The company has acquired minority stake of less than 20 per cent on a fully diluted basis.
