Wipro gains on collaborating with Check Point Software Technologies

Wipro is currently trading at Rs. 325.55, up by 1.60 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 323.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 323.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 326.60 and Rs. 322.50 respectively. So far 11065 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 339.05 on 21-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 253.50 on 06-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 333.65 and Rs. 314.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 146558.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.81% and 7.64% respectively.

Wipro has partnered with Check Point Software Technologies to deliver advanced cyber security and threat prevention solutions for customers that are investing in cloud infrastructure. The company would deliver Check Point's advanced and dynamic cloud security solution, CloudGuard IaaS.

This strategic worldwide partnership will further accelerate demand for the CloudGuard comprehensive suite of cloud security products, which are focused on advanced threat prevention and safeguarding enterprise cloud applications, infrastructure, and data against the most sophisticated fifth-generation cyber-attacks threatening organizations.
