Vikas Proppant surges on entering into new market of Proppants manufacturing

Vikas Proppant & Granite is currently trading at Rs. 9.99, up by 0.19 points or 1.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 9.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9.99 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9.99 and Rs. 9.99 respectively. So far 286338 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9.80 on 15-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 0.72 on 07-Jun-2018.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9.80 and Rs. 8.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 505.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 24.70% while Non-Institutions held 75.30%.

Vikas Proppant & Granite has decided to enter into a new niche market of Proppants manufacturing which ONGC and other oil and gas drillers are importing currently. The company has planned to manufacture Proppants and mining of granite and fractured debris near Jodhpur.

The cost of plant and equipments to be installed for manufacturing the premium grade proppants at Kaparda District Jodhpur (47 KM from Jodhpur - on way to Jaipur) is arrived at Rs 86.72 crore. These orders have been finalized with the German fabricators after completing negotiations and their design drawings. The expected delivery period of the plant and machinery would start end of 2020 and expected to part into production sometime in 2021.
