TCS gains on adding second office in Arkansas

TCS is currently trading at Rs. 3490.00, up by 7.55 points or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 3482.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3480.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3496.55 and Rs. 3475.00 respectively. So far 1,657 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3560.00 on 02-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2325.00 on 07-Jul-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3509.45 and Rs. 3416.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6,68,095.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.81% and 4.22% respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has welcomed more than 200 new employees to Little Rock, Arkansas, as part of its groundbreaking agreement with Transamerica to transform the administration of its US insurance and annuity business lines. The Little Rock office is a new US business center for TCS, adding to its existing office in Bentonville, Arkansas, which hosts more than 150 employees.

TCS will occupy several floors of the 1400 Centerview building in downtown Little Rock, as part of a multi-year agreement with Transamerica to rapidly enhance its digital capabilities, simplify the service of more than 10 million policies into an integrated modern platform, and drive growth opportunities through superior customer service.
