Tata Motors inches up on delivering 241 new buses to KSRTC

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 512.30, up by 0.35 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 511.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 514.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 514.80 and Rs. 511.45 respectively. So far 94727 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 522.20 on 08-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 266.00 on 11-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 518.50 and Rs. 503.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 148099.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.01%, while institutions and non-institutions held 41.81% and 8.33% respectively.

Tata Motors, the country's largest automaker by revenues, has delivered 241 buses to the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).  The buses are equipped with modern Tata Cummins ISB engines, air suspension and multiplex wiring meeting Urban Bus specification II set by the Centre. Further, the GPRS-enabled connectivity permits the buses to be connected with control room for real-time monitoring. They are also enabled for smart-ticketing options. The driver's seat has been designed ergonomically with four-way adjustable mechanism to maintain the health of drivers.
