Tata Metaliks rises on reporting 18% rise in Q4 net profit

Tata Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 678.45, up by 10.65 points or 1.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 667.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 678.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 685.00 and Rs. 675.25 respectively. So far 9418 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 878.00 on 27-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 545.00 on 11-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 677.90 and Rs. 648.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1909.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.09 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.72 % and 32.18 % respectively.

Tata Metaliks has reported a rise of 17.75% in its net profit at Rs 64.35 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019 under review as compared to Rs 54.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.35% at Rs 596.62 crore for Q4FY19 as compared Rs 555.77 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has reported a rise of 14.27% in its net profit at Rs 181.89 crore as compared to Rs 159.18 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.90% at Rs 2,161.76 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,914.81 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
