Tata Communications slips on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 58.49 crore in Q1

Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 566.00, down by 23.35 points or 3.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 589.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 584.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 587.00 and Rs. 552.00 respectively. So far 59733 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 758.00 on 14-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 534.35 on 18-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 598.95 and Rs. 552.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16245.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.17% and 5.83% respectively.

Tata Communications has reported a fall of 13.52% in its net profit of Rs 70.77 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 81.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 6.34% at Rs 1272.41 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 1358.59 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 58.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 as against net profit of Rs 32.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company decreased by 9.59% at Rs 3936.72 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 4354.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
