Tata Communications gains on inking agreement with Batelco to strengthen their partnership

Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 743.40, up by 8.10 points or 1.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 735.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 740.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 745.75 and Rs. 735.00 respectively. So far 15590 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 784.00 on 17-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 426.70 on 24-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 745.75 and Rs. 645.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21107.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.45% and 5.55% respectively.

Tata Communications has inked an agreement with Batelco, Bahrain's leading digital communications solutions provider, further strengthening their partnership to extend the reach of their global data centre, cloud and connectivity solutions to their customers. Batelco has chosen Tata Communications as a cloud partner to ensure high levels of flexibility and reliability for its customers through Tata Communications' IZO Cloud Enablement Platform.

The agreement allows Tata communications to extend its data centre footprint in locations like Bahrain, Jordon, among others enabled by Batelco. This allows Tata Communications' customers to have a one stop, seamless solution for their network, cloud and co-location requirements.
