Suzlon Energy trades higher on the BSE

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 8.98, up by 0.06 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 8.92 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9.09 and Rs. 8.92 respectively. So far 1008538 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 20.25 on 27-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.51 on 14-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9.45 and Rs. 8.61 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4755.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.22% and 59.95% respectively.

Suzlon is planning to raise funds through issuance of redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures/non-equity linked instruments in one or more tranches to an extent of Rs 900 crore on a private placement basis for replacement of existing debt.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on May 30, 2018, to consider the same. Besides, the company will also consider issuing securities to an extent of Rs 2,000 crore.
