Seamec trades in green on the bourses

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 301.00, up by 9.95 points or 3.42 % from its previous closing of Rs. 291.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 302.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 300.60 respectively. So far 496 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 311.00 on 01-Feb-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 164.25 on 08-Feb-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 270.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 775.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.55% and 26.88% respectively.

Seamec has reviewed the status and feasibility of scheme of demerger of EPC and Vessel Division of HAL Offshore into the company and decided to withdraw the same considering that the intended synergies based on which demerger was planned have been diluted and will not be in the best interest of the company and its minority shareholders.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 06, 2019 has decided the same.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
