Reliance Industries trades higher on the bourses

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 924.00, up by 4.60 points or 0.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 919.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 927.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 929.00 and Rs. 922.00 respectively. So far 36,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 990.00 on 23-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 536.15 on 21-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 945.00 and Rs. 914.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,85,020.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.77% and 16.75% respectively.
Reliance Industries' (RIL) telecom arm - Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has been ranked at number 17 spot on the global list, and also ranks at number one for Most Innovative Companies in India.

Jio has been ranked by Fast Company at its annual ranking of the world's 50 Most Innovative Companies (MIC) for 2018, honoring leading enterprises and rising newcomers that exemplify the best in business and innovation.

Jio joins the list of other leading global companies such as Apple, Netflix, Tencent, Amazon, Spotify and many others.

RIL is India's largest private sector company, to feature in Fortune's Global 500 list of 'World's Largest Corporations' - currently ranking 203rd in terms of revenues, and 110th in terms of profits.
