Radico Khaitan gains after Citigroup Global buys 40 lakh shares (12-Aug-2016)

Radico Khaitan is currently trading at Rs. 90.30, up by 0.55 points or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 88.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 92.00 and Rs. 88.50 respectively. So far 8357 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 130.90 on 20-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 81.20 on 07-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.25 and Rs. 84.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1194.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.46%, while institutions and non-institutions held 39.37% and 20.17% respectively.

Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius has bought 40 lakh shares of Radico Khaitan through open market route. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 92 valuing the transaction to Rs 36.80 crore. On the other hand, HSBC Global Investment Funds Mauritius has sold 46 lakh shares in the company for an average price of Rs 92.01 through open market route.

Radico Khaitan is engaged in the manufacturing Rectified Spirit (RS), Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), Country Liquor and IMFL. The company has one of the largest distilleries in India at Rampur with molasses-based distilling capacity of 75 million litres per annum and grain-based distillation capacity of 27 million litres per annum.
