Orient Refractories shines on completing expansion of plant in Bhiwadi

Orient Refractories is currently trading at Rs. 177.00, up by 16.55 points or 10.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 169.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 179.90 and Rs. 167.00 respectively. So far 70172 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 186.80 on 09-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 124.55 on 29-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 179.90 and Rs. 152.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2126.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.62%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.37% and 20.02% respectively.

Orient Refractories has successfully completed expansion of Isostatic production capacity from 9,300 tons per year to 11,700 tons per year at the Bhiwadi plant, in Rajasthan on May 17, 2018. The company will start the commercial production from June 2018.

Orient Refractories offers a wide range of Refractory and Monolithic products for the iron and steel industry and enjoy large domestic and international clientele.
