Mukta Arts zooms as its arm opens single screen property in Hyderabad

Mukta Arts is currently trading at Rs. 41.00, up by 1.15 points or 2.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 39.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 43.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 43.90 and Rs. 39.95 respectively. So far 6046 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 104.35 on 11-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 32.10 on 28-Sep-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 43.90 and Rs. 38.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 93.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.37%, while the Non-Institutions held 29.63% stake in the company.

Mukta Arts' subsidiary -- Mukta A2 Cinemas has opened its single screen property at Shamsabad in Hyderabad. Earlier, Mukta A2 Cinemas launched its three screen property in Kareemnagar in the state of Telangana.

Another Single Screen under the Joint venture, Asian Mukta A2 Cinemas LLP, is slated to open on January 25, 2019 at Uppal in Telangana. With addition of these five screens, the screen count of Mukta A2 Cinemas goes upto 48 apart from 6 in Bahrain and 10 screens under its JV with Asian Cinemas. So, total screen count goes to 64 screens.

Mukta Arts is engaged in various areas of film making such as production, distribution, exhibition and imparting education.
