LTI zooms on reporting 14% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) is currently trading at Rs. 1641.80, up by 50.50 points or 3.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 1591.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1602.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1657.95 and Rs. 1590.75 respectively. So far 8651 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1754.55 on 26-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 724.75 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,657.95 and Rs. 1,500.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27381.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 82.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.11% and 7.93% respectively.

The company has reported a rise of 31.22% in its net profit at Rs 321.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 244.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.60% at Rs 2035.70 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1647.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 13.80% in its net profit of Rs 289.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 254.40 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 22.52% at Rs 2118.30 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1728.90 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 23.73% in its net profit at Rs 1160.10 crore as compared to Rs 937.60 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 16.46% at Rs 7431.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6381.20 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 14.56% in its net profit at Rs 1112.00 crore as compared Rs 970.70 crore for the previous year. Total consolidated income of company increased by 15.63% at Rs 7732.60 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6687.60 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
