Jayshree Chemicals zooms on getting nod for merger of WOS

Jayshree Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 16.05, up by 0.65 points or 4.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.50 and Rs. 15.70 respectively. So far 3620 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 24.90 on 09-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9.09 on 23-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.50 and Rs. 12.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 45.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.36%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.69% and 49.26% respectively.

Jayshree Chemicals (JCL) has received board's approval for the merger of the wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) -- Fort Gloster Electric (FGEL) -- into the company. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on April 09, 2018 approved the same.

Jayshree Chemicals is engaged in the manufacture of caustic soda, chlorine, hydrochloric acid and sodium hypochlorite.
