Indian Hume Pipe trades higher on the bourses

Indian Hume Pipe Company is currently trading at Rs. 289.25, up by 2.85 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 286.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 291.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 291.50 and Rs. 288.05 respectively. So far 1244 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 591.00 on 01-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 238.00 on 28-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 291.50 and Rs. 273.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1404.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.54% and 24.54% respectively.

Indian Hume Pipe Company has received a work order of Rs 256.19 crore from Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board (TWAD), Coimbatore for providing Combined Water Supply Scheme to Alampalayam Town Panchayat, Padaveedu Town Panchayat including 669 Rural Habitations in Pallipalayam and Tiruchengode Unions in Namakkal District and Sankari Town Panchayat in Salem District with River Cauvery.

The project is to be completed within 24 months including trial run and maintenance period of 5 years.

Indian Hume Pipe Company is engaged in the construction and maintenance of projects relating to water supply, irrigation, sanitation and sewerage systems, and pipe manufacturing
