HT Media trades in green on the BSE

HT Media is currently trading at Rs. 58.75, up by 0.45 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 58.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 57.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 59.80 and Rs. 57.00 respectively. So far 25215 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.50 on 15-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.00 on 20-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 61.10 and Rs. 55.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1373.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.66% and 13.84% respectively.

HT Media has received approval for composite scheme of arrangement and amalgamation amongst the company, Next Radio (NRL), Next Mediaworks (NMW) and HT Music & Entertainment Company (HTM) and their respective shareholders.

The arrangement includes the demerger of the FM radio business of the Company, except the FM radio business operated by the company in Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh, on a going concern basis and subsequent transfer and vesting of the same to NMW. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on August 8, 2018, approved the same.

HT Media is engaged in printing and publishing of newspapers. The company's segments include Printing & Publishing; Radio Broadcast & Entertainment, and Digital.
