Hero MotoCorp catches speed on the bourses (15-Dec-2017)

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 3483.60, up by 29.15 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 3454.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3478.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3502.10 and Rs. 3469.15 respectively. So far 4112 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4200.00 on 23-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2957.00 on 27-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3564.60 and Rs. 3410.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 69536.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.64%, while institutions and non-institutions held 53.72% and 11.64% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp's motor-sport division -- Hero MotoSports Team Rally has showcased its new 'Hero RR 450' rally bike for the first-time in India. Hero MotoSports also announced its Team for the Dakar Rally 2018.

The new 'Hero RR 450' rally bike will also be making its debut at the Dakar this year. The new bike is an upgrade of the well-proven rally bike from last year, with new design and styling of tank, body parts and front section to improve mass centralization, handling and riding ergonomics. The new 'Hero 450 RR' proved its capabilities at the OiLibya Rally in Morocco this year. The key learning from the Team's rookie year and last year's Dakar experience have been implemented in the bike. There are several improvements in the bike, which have affected an increase in riders' confidence.

Hero MotoCorp is an India-based holding company and a two-wheeler manufacturer. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of motorized two-wheelers, spare parts and related services.
