Gayatri Projects soars on bagging contact worth Rs 425 crore

Gayatri Projects is currently trading at Rs. 192.80, up by 3.20 points or 1.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 189.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 193.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 193.95 and Rs. 192.35 respectively. So far 3270 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 227.50 on 14-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 135.04 on 25-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.80 and Rs. 188.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3549.29 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.95%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.87% and 10.18% respectively.

Gayatri Projects has received a letter of award (LoA) from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for part construction of six lane elevated corridor in the state of Telangana. The cost of the project is Rs 425 crore.

The project is for the construction of Six Lane Elevated Corridor from Km 7.950 to Km 14.200 of NH-163 to de-congest the urban limits of Hyderabad-Bhopalpatnam Section on EPC basis contract in the State of Telangana. This project is in JV with OJSC 'SIBMOST', i.e Gayatri - OJSC 'SIBMOST' (JV).
