Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company is currently trading at Rs. 1187.60, up by 12.15 points or 1.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 1175.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1175.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1187.60 and Rs. 1175.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1243.90 on 06-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 805.10 on 15-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1212.95 and Rs. 1120.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18,448.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.54% and 10.38% respectively.

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company has received an approval for raising funds up to Rs 11,500 crore through Non-convertible Debentures (NCDs) in one or more series on private placement basis.

The company will raise funds by issuing of 1,00,000 secured and/or unsecured redeemable, NCDs of face value of Rs 10 lakh each at par aggregating to Rs 10,000 crore; 10,000 unsecured Redeemable, NCDs in the nature of Subordinated debt of face value of Rs 10 lakh each at par aggregating to Rs 1,000 crore and 5000 unsecured Redeemable, NCDs in the nature of Perpetual debt of face value of Rs 10 lakh each at par aggregating to Rs 500 crore.  The board of directors at their meeting held on July 27, 2017, has approved for the same.
