CEAT trades with traction on the bourses

CEAT is currently trading at Rs. 111.75, up by 0.85 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 110.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 111.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 112.75 and Rs. 111.20 respectively. So far 27408 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 22-Aug-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 73.10 on 09-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 112.75 and Rs. 103.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 382.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.87% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.56% and 34.57% respectively.

As part of expanding its network throughout India, CEAT has launched its first outlet in Kerala at Thodupuzha to provide one-stop solution to tyre related services. The company has designed this outlet as per the international design standards lodging the latest in the tyre related services like wheel alignment and wheel balancing.

CEAT is among the best tyre manufacturers in India. Besides tyres, the company also manufactures and markets tubes and flaps. It manufactures a wide range of tyres for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, tractors and tippers and trucks.
