Camlin Fine Sciences surges on getting nod to raise Rs 250 crore

Camlin Fine Sciences is currently trading at Rs. 96.85, up by 3.35 points or 3.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 96.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 97.95 and Rs. 96.00 respectively. So far shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 154.70 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.00 on 13-Sep-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 102.25 and Rs. 92.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1133.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.86% and 55.45% respectively.

Camlin Fine Sciences has received board's approval to raise funds not exceeding Rs 250 crore by way of debt and FCCB/GDR/ADR/ QIP/other securities linked to equity / preference shares / any instrument or securities representing convertible securities.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on May 24, 2018, have approved the same.

Camlin Fine Sciences is the world's second largest manufacturer and marketer of food grade antioxidants BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and TBHQ (Tertiary Butylhydroquinone).
