Bajaj Holdings gains on the bourses

Bajaj Holdings & Investment is currently trading at Rs. 2965.20, up by 17.50 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 2947.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2970.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2977.95 and Rs. 2958.00 respectively. So far 300 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3295.00 on 16-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2203.65 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3100.00 and Rs. 2930.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 33000.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.17% and 34.42% respectively.

Bajaj Holdings and Investment (BHIL) is going to acquire 27% shareholding in Maharashtra Scooters held by Western Maharashtra Development Corporation (WMDC). The shares will be acquired at a price of Rs 232 per share. After the acquisition, the company will hold 51% share capital from 24%.

Bajaj Holdings & Investment is essentially a holding and investment company focusing on earning income through dividend, interest and gains on investments held.
