Apollo Hospitals Enterprise falls despite reporting 29% rise in Q3 net profit

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is currently trading at Rs. 1213.45, down by 45.50 points or 3.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 1258.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1290.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1295.00 and Rs. 1187.80 respectively. So far 22394 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1387.00 on 21-Jan-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 911.10 on 23-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1335.00 and Rs. 1187.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16776.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.40%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.31% and 7.04% respectively.

The company has reported 28.90% rise in its net profit at Rs 86.93 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 67.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.79% at Rs 2177.15 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 1864.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise owns and operates chain of multi-specialty hospitals. It offers the services in the area of cardiology, cardiothoracic, orthopedics and joint replacement, spine surgery, oncology, etc.
