Aditya Birla Capital rises on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary

Aditya Birla Capital is currently trading at Rs. 142.20, up by 1.05 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 141.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 144.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 144.80 and Rs. 141.95 respectively. So far 49290 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 264.00 on 01-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.80 on 23-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 152.80 and Rs. 140.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 31255.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.31% and 13.97% respectively.

Aditya Birla Capital has incorporated a new Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) company namely 'Aditya Birla Stressed Asset AMC' with effect from May 22, 2018. The company has incorporated WOS with an initial subscription of 10,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 1 lakh.

Aditya Birla Stressed Asset AMC is incorporated to carry on the activities of raising or acquiring funds for and managing mutual funds, venture capital funds, offshore funds, pension funds, provident funds, or any other funds.

Aditya Birla Capital is one of the largest financial services players in India.
