Tata Steel's European branch to invest 2.3 million euros at IJmuiden facility (08-Feb-2013)

In a bid to develop next-generation steels for the auto industry that are lighter, stronger and better able to withstand crashes, Tata Steel's European branch, Tata Steel UK will invest 2.3 million euros at its IJmuiden facility in the Netherlands. The Indian company's European branch is Europe's second largest steel producer.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world's second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
