PNB reports net loss of Rs 13416.91 crore in Q4

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 13416.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net profit of Rs 261.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 13.63% at Rs 12945.68 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 14989.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 12282.82 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1324.80 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company increased marginally by 1.15% at Rs 56876.63 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 56227.36 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
