Oriental Carbon & Chemicals Ltd has informed that in the limited review report of the Company for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, the Auditors of the Company have made the following observations:

Outstanding Advances from bodies corporate / firms aggregating to Rs 909.52

lacs and interest there on Rs 521.24 lacs including Rs 325.32 lacs not accounting for period from April 01, 2000 onwards, due to reasons stated in the Note No. 5 of the audited accounts as on March 31, 2007 for which the Auditors are unable to comment about the recovery of above dues and the impact, if any, due to uncertainty in realizations.
