MRF reports over 2-fold jump in Q1 net profit

MRF has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 260.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 106.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 3.79% at Rs 3907.19 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 4060.93 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

MRF is engaged in the manufacturing, distribution and sale of tyres for various kinds of vehicles. The company offers tyre shopping, tyredrome and tyre maintenance services. It also provides an institute for driver development.
