M&M's Farm Equipment Sector registers 15% jump in July domestic sales

Mahindra & Mahindra's (M&M) Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the $17.8 billion Mahindra Group, has reported its sales numbers for July 2016. Domestic sales in July 2016 stood at 16,452 units, up by 15%, as against 14,273 units during July 2015.

The company's total tractor sales (domestic + exports) during July 2016 has stood at 17,553 units, up by 14%, as against 15,460 units for the same period last year. However, exports for the month stood at 1101 units, registering a fall of 7%.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
