IOC to receive first ever crude oil from US in October 2017

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has purchased its first ever crude oil from the United States to be delivered in early October. The country's largest refiner has acquired 1.6 million barrels of US Mars crude and 400,000 barrels of Western Canadian Select that will be delivered onboard a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC). PetroChina was awarded the tender to sell the cargoes.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
